Len Rempel

Len, and his wife Kathleen, live in Saskatoon.  He served as pastor at Warman Mennonite and Pleasant Point Mennonite for the past three years. In 2021 they moved from Ontario where Len served as pastor as well as in a senior leadership role with Mennonite World Conference.
In his role as Executive Minister, Len brings together his pastoral and administrative experience. One objective is to connect with congregations and help them connect with each other and with the broader church. The role of Executive Minister also serves as “pastor to the pastors” as a support to them.
In his personal time, Len enjoys photography, gardening, and writing. 

Cynthia Kovacs

Cynthia is new to the MC Sask office, and looks forward to meeting you, the learning curve and other office challenges that may come her way.  She and her husband, Ferencs, live in Martensville - just under 15 minutes to the office! Ferencs plays guitar and Cynthia sings on a Worship Team at their church. They love their 3 grand-baby-boys, and yes, even the other family members that come with them! Cynthia is now the lead coordinator of the Annual Delegate Sessions, manages day-to-day finances, our web page, communications, phone calls, emails, event registration, and keeping everyone caffinated with Fair Trade Coffee orders. 

Dalen Applegate
Faith Development Minister

Dalen, and his wife Keira, live in Saskatoon. After years of internships, education, and working with youth in Southern Saskatchewan, Dalen and Keira moved to Saskatoon in 2021. Shortly after, Dalen began working at Lakeview Church, as the Youth Pastor, in 2022. 

In this new role, as Faith Development Minister, Dalen hopes to create and sustain relationships with youth and young adults across MC Saskatchewan. Dalen will work closely and collaborate with church leaders, youth pastors, sponsors, and volunteers. To support faith development initiatives already under way, while also reimagining what faith development can look like across MC Saskatchewan. 

In his personal time, Dalen enjoys travelling, making good coffee, and a casual round of disc golf.
