God calls us to be followers of Jesus Christ and by the power of the Holy Spirit to grow as communities of grace, joy and peace so that healing and hope flow through us to the world.
Ministries Commission is like the sap in a large elm tree. Its purpose is to carry the creative growth energies from the good soil of the gospel all throughout the body: from the roots which reach out into our various worldwide communities, through the trunk of MC Sask relationships and structures, up to the branches that are our many congregations, and back down to the roots, creating an ongoing, ever-flowing exchange of inspiration and strength. Our purpose is to vision together with, and facilitate Christ’s activities within and through MC Sask.
Vision:
Reconciliation with Indigenous neighbours. Spiritual growth within our body(ies). Connection with and support of international witness work, through MC Canada personnel, to local host communities around the world. Support local churches and clusters of churches as they identify and create projects which serve the needs within their communities.
