Celebrating and Mourning as 3 Congregations close their doors

During the MC Sask Annual Delegate Sessions on March 13, 2021, time was spent celebrating the life and mourning the closure of 3 congregations.

• Superb Mennonite Church held its last service on May 31, 2020.

• Hanley Mennonite Church will have their closing service on April 4, 2021

• Zoar Mennonite Church will have their closing service on April 11, 2021.

These congregations each shared about their life as a congregation, and their struggle to make the decision to close. We were able to rejoice and mourn with them, and were able to let them know that even with the closure of the buildings they are still a part of MC Sask and will be supported and kept in our prayers.
