We need your feedback and input about camp!

We need your feedback and input about camp!

Summer camping ministry for children and youth, retreats, camp facilities, have all been an integral part of the Mennonite Church Saskatchewan landscape for decades. MC Sask Council is currently working with Tim Nickel of Fifth Business Consulting, to take a deep dive into our three camps and their programs, and your participation and input is vital.

Regardless of your age, past involvement, or opinion, you are invited to speak to the future of MC Sask camping ministry. Young and old. Near and far. There are three different ways your voice can be heard over the coming weeks.

The purpose of the meetings are:

  • To learn more about the conference camps and camping programs,

  • To develop thinking and ideas on the topic of camping ministry,

  • To elicit the views of congregation members and attendees on the three MC Saskatchewan camps and the program as a whole.

In-person meetings will be held in four locations, and anyone is welcome at any meeting:

  • Rosthern Mennonite Church, on Monday, January 23 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm

  • Wildwood Mennonite Church, on Saskatoon, Wednesday, January 25 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm

  • Grace Mennonite Church, Regina, on Monday, January 30 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm

  • Zion Mennonite Church, Swift Current, on Tuesday, January 31 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm

There will also be online meeting (Zoom) opportunities on the following dates:

  • Thursday, February 2 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm

  • Friday, February 3 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm

To receive a Zoom meeting link to either of these meetings please email Tim, with which meeting you want to attend, and Tim will send you the link. Please RSVP to tim.nickel@fifthbusinessconsulting.ca by January 31.

The electronic survey is available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/32Y92WS and is open until January 27.

Thank you for giving your voice to this important work.
