MC Sask Announces Youth Minister Resignation

Mennonite Church Saskatchewan announced today that Kirsten Hamm-Epp has officially resigned from her position as Youth Minister, effective August 31, 2024.

“My time with MC Sask has been incredibly life-giving, and it is with a deep sense of gratitude and many, many fond memories that I have come to the decision that it is time for me to move on… It has been a true honour to serve MC Sask for the past eleven years, and I am grateful to have been able to both serve and be mentored by such an incredible ‘cloud of witnesses’ (Hebrews 12).”

While Hamm-Epp served MC Sask in a variety of roles during her 11-year tenure, youth ministry was always at the heart of her role, with major highlights being the annual retreats and hosting/planning the 2019 MC Canada Youth Gathering, Shake. MC Sask is grateful for the energy, integrity, and commitment she brought to her work, and the ways she instilled this spirit into our wider church family as well.  We wish her well in this next season of life.

Announcements will be made over the summer regarding future youth ministry programming. Contact Executive Minister Len Rempel with any questions, minister@mcsask.ca
