Mennonite Church Saskatchewan is a community of 22 Mennonite congregations across Saskatchewan who have convenanted together to be Christ Centred and Sent as we support each other in ministry, to do things together which we cannot do alone, to be Church together throughout the province, and to connect to the larger Mennonite Church in Canada and around the world.

Reading Paul in the Shadow of Empire course

November 7th

Do the writing of Paul have anything to say to the challenges of colonialism, violence, and the climate crisis today? Perhaps reading Paul's letter to the Jesus-followers in Rome, struggling with what it means to be faithful in a context of slavery, poverty, and violence, will allow us to reflect on how we, too, can be faithful to Jesus in a context of empire. This intensive course is available for credit or as a non-credit; in person or on zoom.

SMYO Coffee Fundraiser

Through Level Ground Trading Co., funds are raised each year to help youth attend the two SMYO retreats, for large assemblies and trips, and scholarships. To date over $7,000 has been raised, and we are very grateful for this support!
Orders are welcome on an individual or congregational/corporate level. We collect orders until we can complete a full order (usually in 1 or 2 weeks), and our order takes approximately 5 business days to arrive

Work begins on Anabaptist Bible

Work has officially begun on the first-ever Anabaptist Bible. During August 26–28, a group of 45 “Bible ambassadors,” diverse people from various Anabaptist communities, met at the Casa Iskali retreat center in Des Plains, Illinois, to kick off the historic project. John Roth, project director of Anabaptism at 500, and Mollee Moua, managing editor, brought the representatives together for “In the Beginning Was the Word: A Working Conference on the Anabaptist Bible.”
